OVER 14,000 water consumers in Rizal Province should brace for an eight-hour water interruption starting Thursday night until the next day, says the Manila Water Company Inc.
Manila Water hinted at the urgent need to repair leaks in the structures.
In an advisory released on Wednesday, Manila Water said it would undertake repairs along M.H Del Pilar corner C. Reyes, Barangay San Rafael in Rodriguez, Rizal, affecting customers in five barangays — San Rafael, Geronimo, San Rosario, Balite, San Isidro.
Interestingly repairing leaks in Montalban town would affect eastern Metro Manila and all other Rizal towns.
Customers in the areas will experience a service interruption starting 10 p.m. on October 22, until 6:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23.
“Manila Water is advising residents of the said barangays to store enough water to supply their needs during the interruption period,” the advisory read.
Manila Water is the east zone concessionaire which services 23 cities and municipalities in Metro Manila and Rizal.
These include Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasig, Pateros, San Juan, Taguig, Marikina, and parts of Quezon City and Manila, as well as the towns of Angono, Baras, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Jalajala, Morong, Pililia, Rodriguez, Tanay, Taytay, Teresa, San Mateo and Antipolo in the province of Rizal.
