MOBILITY in areas under strict community quarantine protocol, particularly Antipolo City, should not be a reason not to save lives, with a brand new ambulance on stand-by, said a top official of Barangay Dela Paz this city.
Jeff Naval Fernan, chairman of one of the biggest barangays in Antipolo City announced the availability of a new, fully-equipped ambulance seen to save lives, especially during the national health emergency in view of the Covid-19 global pandemic.
“We are thankful to have been steadily given preference by our city government and congressional district representative, who have been extending whatever we asked for,” quipped Fernan in apparent reference to Antipolo City Mayor Andrea Ynares and Deputy House Speaker Robbie Puno.

The new ambulance, which would exclusively be used for their emergency quick response, was recently turned over by Rizal Provincial Board Member Randy Puno {wearing long sleeves shirt}, representing Antipolo Congressman Robbie Puno.
Fernan underscored the need for ambulances seen to help save lives, especially in this time of national health emergency. Incidentally, the ambulance was an offshoot of the efforts of former Congresswoman Chiqui Roa, who painstakingly struggled if only to ensure that the Department of Health doesn’t miss on allotting a unit for the use of Barangay Dela Paz.
