High-tech wristbands for Caloocan residents in quarantine

THE Caloocan City government is embarking on an innovative way to monitor individuals who have been exposed to confirmed COVID-19 positive patients.

Taking cue from Hong Kong and South Korea, Caloocan City will be farming out Quarantine Band or Q Band to local folks undergoing quarantine starting on Monday.

The orange band, which comes with the Q Band Public App, is equipped with a unique QR code. Using the band, an individual could share his/her health status, location and infection risk.
