BATAAN – The total number of infected by COVID-19 in Bataan has reached an alarming record of 948, with 17 dead.
Governor Abet S Garcia reported on Sept. 1 that based on report, 27 were newly-infected most of them from Mariveles town, by the virus while recovered were 559.
However, the number of active cases are 372, the biggest ever recorded to be infected.
Garcia said a total of 12,505 were tested negative of the 13,604 total tested.
“Upang hindi na po dumami ang kaso ng COVID-19, patuloy po ang ating tagubilin na palaging maghugas ng kamay, manatili sa inyong mga tahanan at kung kinakailangang lumabas ng bahay ay umiwas sa mga mataong lugar, magsuot ng facemask at mag observe ng physical distancing na dalawang (2) metro,” the governor added.
