PETROLEUM companies are imposing another increase in the pump prices of petroleum products, the second in two weeks.
In their advisories sent to the media, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. is imposing P0.20 per liter increase in the price of gasoline, P0.05 for diesel and P0.45 for kerosene. Petro Gazz also announced increasing pump prices of their petroleum products by that much too, except for kerosene which would not change.
The increase will take effect 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Other fuel companies have yet to make any announcements as of this posting.
According to data from the Department of Energy (DOE), year-to-date adjustments stand at a net decrease of P4.62 per liter for gasoline, P10.79 for diesel, and P14.84 for kerosene.
