PUMP prices of petroleum products are seen going down this week, according to projections of a locally-based oil firm.
In its fuel forecast covering September 15 to 21, Unioil Petroleum Philippines said the price per liter of diesel will be slashed by P1.50 to P1.60.
Meanwhile, gasoline may go down by P0.90 to P1.00 per liter.
Fuel companies usually announce official price adjustments every Monday to be effective the next day.
Data from the Department of Energy showed the prices per liter of gasoline range between P40.50 and P50.93, while diesel prices range from P29.08 to P37.10 per liter.
Total year-to-date adjustments are set to stand at a net decrease of P4.22 per liter for gasoline and P9.44 per liter for diesel.
