Elizabeth Debicki to play Lady Diana in ‘The Crown’

Netflix’s The Crown has officially found its’ Princess Diana.

Elizabeth Debicki has been cast as the late royal in the fifth and sixth seasons of the series, Netflix announced Sunday.

“Princess Diana’s spirit, her words and her actions live in the hearts of so many. It is my true privilege and honour to be joining this masterful series, which has had me absolutely hooked from episode one,” Debicki said in the Twitter announcement.

The actress, who is also set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s anticipated release Tenet, is joining the Netflix series for its final two seasons. (The Hollywood Reporter)
