Mariveles’ biggest village gov’t center inaugurated

MARIVELES, Bataan – After year of construction, Barangay Alas-asin finally gets to see another government center seen to cater to the growing needs of the community.

At the inauguration of the P30 million barangay hall annex, Alas-asin barangay chair Roberto Arcenal  Sr. hinted at more community-anchored services as the new facility could now house health, education, livelihood and other basic services offered by the local government of Mariveles.

Local folks hailed the cohesive efforts of the entire barangay council for the new infrastructure deemed as capable of accommodating more people in need.

Considered as one of the biggest and beautiful barangay halls in the region, Arcenal said that he would be holding office at the newly-constructed government center if only to accommodate more constituents.

Arcenal or Kap. Bert to his constituents said the barangay hall annex will also serve as command center and motor pool.

Moreover, Arcenal hinted at the availability of another P7 million for construction of a building for the Alternative Learning System and a training room beside the Alas asin national high school.
 
“Pinasinayaan sa isang simple pagtitipon ang pagbubukas ng Barangay Alasasin Annex Hall sa ating barangay.  Upang maiwasan ang paglaganap ng Covid-19, sinunod ng ating pamahalaang Barangay ang mga  protocols katulad ng social distancing, pagsusuot ng facemasks at faceshield, pag-checheck ng body temperature, pag-aalocohol ng  mga piling dumalo;

“Minabuting tanging mga Barangay Officials at Department Heads lamang ang inanyayahan at isang panauhing pandangal na si SB Member Ronald Arcenal ang sumasaksi sa pagdiriwang at pagbasbas ng ating kura parokyo Rev. Fr. Pocho Balmes. OSJ,” Captain Arcenal;

“Isa na namang hakbang tungo sa pagkamit ng mga pangarap para sa ating barangay at kabutihan ng mga residente upang ang serbisyo ay lalo pang mapagbuti. Patuloy tayo sa pagkamit ng isang malinis, marangal, mapayapa at maunlad na Barangay Alasasin!,” read the statement of Barangay Alas-asin.
