Bacolod City LTO imposes ‘no face shield, no entry’ rule

IN an apparent bid to keep local contamination of the deadly coronavirus disease on check, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Bacolod Office is embarking on a policy that would prevent entry of those reneging compliance to the public health safety protocols, from entering the locality.

In an interview with the Pop News Online, Bacolod LTO chief Reuben Tampos said that they will be implementing a “no face shield and mask, no entry” policy amid a continued spike of COVID-19 cases in Bacolod City.

“It is with strong conviction that we would be stopping non-compliant individuals from entering the city, no matter whose toes we get to step on,” said Tampos in a brief statement.
